The Speaker-Ready Advantage: Smarter Speaker Management, Better Events

Includes a Live Web Event on 09/30/2025 at 3:00 PM (EDT)

Managing speakers effectively is essential to delivering a successful, stress-free event—but with tight deadlines, shifting content, and last-minute changes, it can quickly become chaotic.

Join us for a fast-paced, practical session designed for association professionals looking to streamline their speaker management process and elevate both the speaker and attendee experience. We’ll cover everything from pre-event content collection to onsite coordination and explore how technology can simplify your planning workflow.

You’ll hear directly from Cadmium clients and partners who’ve implemented the Speaker Ready System (SRS).  The panelists will discuss how they supported speakers across multiple properties, rapid-fire sessions, and breakouts with laptops at the lectern. Learn how they reduced stress, stayed on schedule, and delivered high-quality presentations—without expanding their team.

Whether you’re managing speakers for a small event or a multi-venue conference, this session will give you proven strategies and tools to help your speakers shine and your events run smoothly.

Key Takeaways:

  • How to streamline speaker communication and expectations using Cadmium’s Harvester and SRS tools
  • Best practices for content collection, deadline management, and handling late submissions
  • Real-world examples of how clients use the Speaker Ready System across unique event formats
  • Strategies for using volunteers or lean staffing to manage your speaker-ready room
  • Practical next steps you can implement immediately to improve your speaker and attendee experience
  • Cadmium AV Partners that can execute SRS onsite

Ian DeLacy

Manager of Multimedia Productions

Cadmium

I started my professional career as a Network Engineer and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Being an Entrepreneur, I went to work for myself doing large Network installations. In between projects I would work for AVMG as a Speaker Ready Technician in the early 2000's. I learned Audio Visual equipment and advanced in all areas of Live Events. Speaker Ready, Graphics Operator, Audio, and Projection skills have led me to leadership opportunities. After 20 years of experience of managing and leading many of the largest events, Covid put an end to a successful business. Cadmium provided a new home and place to utilize the skills I have obtained. I thrive in Customer Service and going above and beyond to deliver a superior product.
